My No.1 guy,
My flash and blood,
My favorite guy.

You where there when I took my first step,
And when my first tooth came out.
You where there when I said my first word
You where there on my first day at school,
And read my first book 'Mahlontebe'.

You cried when I cried,
You smiled when I smiled,
And you laughed when I did.
You got angry when I was angry
You felt pain when I did,
And you failed to eat when I was sick.

I wish you saw my first day at high-school,
Consoled me when I was hurt
Gave me your male point of view when I needed it.
And saw my first high-school report.

You where there for me,
When I needed you
And when I thought I did not need you.
I will always appriciate that.

Your body is not with me,
But your spirit always is,
You'll always be proud of me, no matter what.
No one will ever take your place
My love for you will never fade away.
