My Dad

i had a dad
but now it seems
he is just a man
I love my father
and i know he loves me
but sometimes i wonder
if he sees me
he tries to talk to me
but i turn away
because i am scared
of what really is there

Appreciate him for whatever it is that's there.........one day he won't be here. I lost my dad in 1994 (he was 48 yrs old) . I miss him very much and have many regrets. Good luck. Sincerely, Mary
