My Darkness Poem by Patrick Barongan

In everyones life,
there are always moments of strife,
Weather is loss of a loved one
or when someone's time is just done.
in my nights i lay awake
pain filled memories start to take
the thoughts of you bring me down
seeing you just makes me frown.
i remember what you did to me,
you lead me on and now i see.
my darkness is just another name for you,
for all that evil you do.
i'll let my broken heart lie in ruin
i know now never to let you in.
darkness is all i see,
your face is as haunting as can be.
why cant you let me welcome death
let me take my last breath
my darkness let me be,
go away and never ler me see.
