My Daughter Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

My Daughter

Rating: 5.0

She is not a toy,
to entertain you all the time.
She is a little person herself,
learning to cope with her own mind.
She's still learning the ways
of this world around her,
She's not here to be
just the gem of your eyes.
Give her time,
Give her space.
Let her grow at her own pace.
And stop worrying about
just a pretty face.

A fine poem written from a mother's perspective.Too much concern or worry may affect a child's growth as a person. To quote from the poem- - Give her time, Give her space. Let her grow at her own pace. And stop worrying about just a pretty face.
