My Dear Old Dad Poem by kevin carolan

My Dear Old Dad

A figure so tall it blocked out the sun
A voice so loud it made us all run
A giant in a chair in front of the fire
A atmosphere tense yet full of desire
To wake the sleeping giant
I quite liked my dad
