My Deep Purple Dream (Revision) Poem by Jean Dament

My Deep Purple Dream (Revision)

In my deep purple dream I'm lost;
And I'm found in depression where weariness is such a cost,
There are dark threatening clouds on the horizon with deep purple hues;
And only a small sliver of light shows through,
Still I am comforted in this temporary state,
But something tells me time is running rather late,
There's such an awesome view & so spectacular it's true;
Where I'm possessed with those dark waters that are very moody blue,
I then awake to wonder if I'm really dreaming or will this pain forever last;
And will I overcome these waves that are pulling me toward my past.
