My Dreams Poem by Skylark Woodrow

My Dreams

I close my eyes to sleep tonight,
And dream of places far;
Where rivers flow,
And people seldom go.
Where trees grow tall and stately,
And water cascades down rock walls.
Where the grass grows green,
And butterflies flutter through the air.
Where birds race across the sky,
And animals roam without a care.
Such is a place in my dreams.
