My Elemental Prayer Poem by Marie Crowe

Element of wind hear these words
Let them fly across the wind
Through the ears and hearts of others
Let these words fly long and keep me and others strong
Through their minds and souls so they can see tough new eyes

Element of fire hear my rage
Let it burn in the ability to be controlled
Through my eyes let others know why
Let my rage only burn those who deserve to
Through my heart let the flames cool

Element of water hear these thoughts
Let them be washed through the sea of remembrance
Through the blood of others
Let these thoughts flow to those in need
Through the rain let others and myself feel anew

Element of earth make the world more balanced
Let every one be more balanced with themselves and others
Through every step make them feel even safer
Let balance fill every mind, heart, and soul of the world
Through every mind feel more at ease
