I am kept here in this cage
I am trapt here by my tongue
I can see just what I want
But the words just will not come
Another day she just walks by
I sit close enough to hear her speak
I can even smell her hair
With my tightened lips and heavy feet.
I push against the bars
But still this emotion's trapt inside
I have even chosen words
But still they're words I'm forced to hide
And it rips my thoughts apart
And violently seeps from every pore
Like an overflowing ocean
That fights to break beyond it's shore
Still I'm held here in this cage
Never thought it'd be this hard to say
To tell you that I love you
But the words just can't escape
