My Epitath Poem by Terrance Tracy

My Epitath

My Epitaph

No longer shall this forum this read my best
Entombed in a sarcophagus held close
To my chest for the charge of self-plagiarism
Has sequestered the fire that fuels the best.
Legalities have no time for me to contest.

Hoist up your banners you the elite
For you have devoured another laid
At your feet.

But do not count me out for I serve
The one true God that has predestined
MY fate for that which the dark world hates.

The best verses are never to be heard
For you ignore the masters that wrote
The eternal word in psalms and verses
That you will never bow down to and frown
Because they were pinned by the simple
And that you will never understand.
