My Escape *improved* Poem by Stacey Nettles

My Escape *improved*

To lay there unbothered,
let my stress float away.
To listen to the waves
Sand and sun warming me in
My own little world.
Faint sounds of seagulls off in the distance,
Calling out to no one.
The breeze blowing through my hair my hair softly,
Bringing the sweet, salty smell of the ocean.
Peaceful, vast and blue.
