My Existance Lies Only In You Poem by Amanda Lukas

My Existance Lies Only In You

Rating: 3.8

I'm happy you're happy, My Love,
and although I miss having your shoulder to cry on,
I thrive in your happiness.
You are, as you always have been and will forever be,
a piece of me.
I feel your happiness and I am warmed.

I lived when you loved me.
In our parting, you took a part of me,
and I will never again be whole
except in your happiness, My Heart.

I need not be near you or hear your voice or feel your touch,
though admittedly, I desire it so.
I need only to know you are whole.
And if, one day, you should think of me,
do not feel sorrow, My Joy.
Host no regrets.

My sorrow exists only in your sorrow.
My joy only in your joy.
My heart in your heart.
