My Flower. Poem by Yanga Hlomendlini

My Flower.

Rating: 5.0

O' my beautiful flower,
As you weep in your pain;
For your bliss it devours,
Yet you bloom again;
For I am always here,
And together we prosper;
This love we share;
Is a kind like no other.

Your divine sepals;
Writ the story of our love;
Engraved on its sequels;
You thrive upon ground,
Yet your seed is in eden;
The garden of paradise;
Beneath our heaven;
The glory of the skies.

The love we breathe;
With our beating hearts,
So our souls may live;
And never to depart;
From a thousand miles;
I feel your presence;
Our bond is still tied,
Regardless of distance.
