My friend you lift me up

Whenever I am down

You hold my hand and comfort me

When sadness falls around



You have made me laugh and cheer me

When no one else could

You're the kind of friend people long for

Together through thick and thin we have stood



You have an uncanny ability

To make light of every situation

And every day of our friendship

I thank God for you, his creation



You never cease to amaze me

And I love you for all that you are and will be

My friend how would I be without you

You mean so much to me
