We don't really know everything about one another
And the distance may be growing farther
But when I feel close in your space
There is a deep feeling to embrace
Together we view a sea of light
Something to see so bright
An awakening from night
A thought to hold so tight
Filled with the inspiration of might
you bring to me this energy that seems too right
and then slowly does that glow begin to take flight from my sight
or it just may be that my vision is going towards the blind
a retreat I no longer can find
its intensity never to be in existence again
the memories so vibrant, where as now I feel no bind with your mind
so it may be our pursuits are in search for that oasis
as our connection drifts away there grows weaker ties to affection
never forgetting the beauty of those moments
forgetting to look towards the present of the future
in a state of confusion about what to do when with you
we have got to move on experience the things that we used to feel was wrong
and if that passion rises to its peak
we will again feel a resonance to our heartbeat.
The awakening will flow through our mind to our feet
A formulation of the elements enlightening the reason we were to meet.
