My Friends Poem by Anusha Subramanian 99

My Friends

Rating: 4.5

Like a moonbeam piercing the storm clouds grey
Like a flame that chases the darkness away
Are friends that help you in every trouble
Sweet, comforting and so irreplaceable

They add the joy in fun and the spice in life
With them here there is no strife
Mine are gifts that God does send
They'll be there for me till the end

My soul sister is one of them
Among people she is a rare gem
Brilliant, fiery and red hot dangerous
Life with her is never very serious

Another is a girl who everyone wants to be
Every style and trend she carries perfectly
Beautiful, caring and understanding
She's never ever been demanding

The last girl's laugh is so contagious
She can't stop giggling but is never tedious
She's instinctive, impulsive, lively and more
She lives her life to the core

The first guy is a credit to our friendship
He loves food as much as his relationship: P
No afraid of speaking his mind
He's loyal, outgoing, cheerful and kind

Of topper material is the next guy
He doesn't mind it when I go high
Intelligent, amazing and impossibly tall
Wow, he kept in touch after all! ! (LOL!)

Next is our very own guitar geek
A SlipKnot and heavy metal freak
For talking in accents he's got a thing
And in a broken voice he likes to sing!

Our official Rap God is the last one
His crazy antics are a lot of fun
Practical, updated and street-smart
Behind these he hides his soft heart

Different colours in the canvas of life
They all blunt misery's knife
And together we paint a beautiful picture
That glows with an appealing lure.
