Fallen Pixie

My future

They say stop looking to the past,
and look to the future.
I do not know how to do
that when she was my future.
How do you look towards,
something that seems so blank?
She tries everyday to do
exactly that,
yet it is so black.
Fore her light has gone away,
and now she is enclosed in
darkness.
She tries so hard,
she wants so bad to
look towards the future,
yet how do you
that when it breaks
you even more.
My future holds no meaning,
for she was all I ever wanted.
Now it has all gone away.
Her future has been wiped away.
Now she is enclosed in
the darkness, with no
light left.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
