My Haven Poem by Teresa Reck

This is a place I can feel at peace
my haven from which I seek a release
dip my toes into the water so cool
enjoy my time from a life so cruel

Away from stress of the outside world
like the petals of a flower my life unfurls
each stress I feel in this place so serene
drains away with the water to a place unseen

Dreams await in this place called serenity
each person who visits can lose their identity
take yourself and let your spirit heal
relish in the moment in a place so surreal
