My Heart Beat
The thundering
of my heart
you know
deep inside
my mind
does dwell
Tissue for eyes
that do not cry
yet when I awake
shallow valleys
do make
The tears
that are
yours
and mine
to so find
Find them not
in sorrow or pain
in this these
no prose can
define
For all have
so felt the
mighty weight
of that which
I have so tried
to describe
I do try
