How high is the azure sky
How deep is the ocean blue
How dark is the silent night
So often do I think of you
Zillion times, I don’t have clue
How many roses sprinkled with dew
So many stars in my eyes to woo.

Another, I know, you wont find
No matter what I do,
Another, I know, you wont love
No matter how far I would go
I would cry to fill the sea,
If ever I lost you
How high is the azure sky
How deep is the ocean blue.

I have no answers now
But this much I can say
You gave a meaning
To this empty world of mine
I’ll know I’ll need you
Till the stars all burn away
How high is the azure sky
How deep is the ocean blue

For love cannot be measured
By hours in a day
Nor can it be inferred
By the words that I’ve come to say
But it is always there
Like stars all gleams in dark and lonely night
And like moonlight streaming forth those cloudy skies
They say love blooms in the night
And in daylight it dies
How high is the azure sky
How deep is the ocean blue
My heart doesn’t have a clue.

love blooms in the night with the blessings of stars and the moon, withers at the dawn as the morning dew dries away...that's the clue.... well done Anju

Another superb lyrical outburst. This time simple and its simplicity touched me. I loved it.

DON'T GO FAR OFF, NOT EVEN FOR A DAY
Don't go far off, not even for a day, because -
because - I don't know how to say it: a day is long
and I will be waiting for you, as in an empty station
when the trains are parked off somewhere else, asleep.

Don't leave me, even for an hour, because
then the little drops of anguish will all run together,
the smoke that roams looking for a home will drift
into me, choking my lost heart.

Oh, may your silhouette never dissolve on the beach;
may your eyelids never flutter into the empty distance.
Don't leave me for a second, my dearest,

because in that moment you'll have gone so far
I'll wander mazily over all the earth, asking,
Will you come back? Will you leave me here, dying?
