* HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010 **

A flicker in the sky
that ray of hope afar
Flamed across the firmament,
a multitude of stars
Dreams and aspirations
soared high like a eagle
fly towards destiny
but chained by reality
My future outlined for 2010.

2009 will soon filter and crawl
in 2010,
like a laughing feather ball
or a manna from the heavens
like a playful clouds fall
There were good and bad times
Some so harsh, that truth’s cries
Brought tears to everyone’s eyes
And some so enigmatic, that
with the fire in my eyes
burnt those devils of shameful lies.

It was good,
While basting in
the sunshines of love
The flames
though high and gnarling
Did’nt leave me
wriggling and scathing
But calm and cool
as cucumber
And happiness
abound outnumber

Now as 2009 will soon come to an end
Let me just thank and bend
before the lord and commend
For the fortunes and the peace descend.
My pleasures might be small
But tomorrow, I could have it all
But I know HE will make me stand tall
Come what may befall
He’s by my side like a wall
To die and have an everlasting life like Saul
Another year ahead

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Saul didn't die as saul, but in dying his name was paul. :) ..

do you know I consider time one long cord, :) each day only a foot of so... that is shopped off at the end of the 'day' a year is when 365 of those are gone. and my death is when im all out of this cord, with none left to chop on the morrow. but at the same time, when it end, i get a big ball, called eternal life..... like paul... where time is no more.. :) ..

sweet poem.. happy new year lady. (Report) Reply

Anjali, tomorrow you WILL have it all, 'cause your pleasures are small but profound. And come what may, yes, He'll be there for you to lean on, like a wall, not speaking, giving you full support and shielding you from all that you deride. A great New Year write.10, for 2010

so good to read Sulaiman again

This is to wish you a happy new year in all you do, in all you meet; and in all that meets you.
