My Last Thought Poem by thomas coltrin

My Last Thought

He holds back his tears
His daddy doesn’t like it
He has so many fears
But he must not admit it

He thinks it’s his fault
His parents are fighting,
He is now growing up
He doesn’t deny it….
In school he gets in fights
Nobody understands him,
In his room by him self
He turns of the lights…

New habits develop
He doesn’t know why,
Words that come out
Lie after lie….

“I love you” he says
To the only girl he knew,
Ever since he was ten
That was his sister as well…

Confused by life
He thinks its shame,
With no hesitation
He pulls the trigger
The poor guy dies in vain ….
