It's gonna be tough
My little guy
But I'll give you the earth
The moon... the sky
If I can.

I'll do my best
To nudge you along
The path of life
I'll help you be strong
If I can.

Just take my hand
And know it's true
I'll do anything
In the world for you
If I can.

Your parents' problems
Should not be your own
I'll give you my strength
Clear down to my bones
If I can.

Always remember
My special boy
That Grandma's right here
Not just for a toy
I'll be your guide, I'll be your hope
If I can.
