My Lord, My Jesus Poem by Mae Ethan

HIS name brings peace, HIS name means love
For us who believes, HE lives up above
HE became one of us, yet God HE still is
Had I met HIM, it would have been bliss.

HE forgives and shows compassion
Shied away from sin in total submission
HE has set an example for us to follow
Promised us blessings for today and morrow.

My friend, if you still do not know the ONE
Who'll come down from heaven to set HIS plan
HIS name is JESUS, yes, it is HE
One with God Almighty and forever He'll be.

Eternal life and salvation cometh
To those who believe, oh so knoweth!
As has been prophesied in His book
He will come to judge soon, that's no crook!
