My Lost Light Poem by Phillip Phan

My Lost Light

Lying in the dark with my loneliness
I found myself grieve over you
but it's just an allusion
of what my soul most desires
a figment of my delusion
your disheartened presence consumes my thoughts
I can't stop pondering whether you exist
in my dreams-bittersweet as can be
could this love be as tangible as this asperous reality?
do i agonize over this being
who's radiance casted a light over the shadowed forest
this precious treasure that i truly yearned for, for eternity
