My Love Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

My Love

If my love could be a song
A melody like wind will touch you,
For in my heart's where you belong
Like wind belongs to skies of blue.

If my love could be a bridge
You know that it will cross the miles
To drown you in romantic siege,
Dance in the sunshine of your smiles.

If my love could be a dew
Each dropp affectionately pure
Devotion constant that is true
Through time and seasons it endures.

If my love could be a tree
Big leafy branches will embrace
Enfold you here so close to me
In verdant cover shade your face.

If my love could be a word
These lips just know one thing to say-
All of me in one accord:
'You are my Love for always! '
