My Love Poem by Jason Summers

My Love

If a love is to last forever, then forever is where I'll stay
Loving you every moment of every hour and each and every day.
I hope this memory never ends
With these words in which I begin:
Love is beautiful,
Love is blind,
Love sees no boundaries or colored lines,
Love will last a lifetime.
Love is not bitter,
Nor is love cold,
And yet some are still told,
Love will never grow old.
Love is the feelings of butterflies in which we first met,
Love does not make promises that cannot be kept.
No matter what is wrong, love can relate,
Love sees not faults or mistakes.
Love is like a song that never ends,
Love does not hurt, love mends.
Love does not have to borrow, beg, or steal
Love is right here and it is for real.
Love is passion, desire, and respect
Love has no room for anger, bitterness, and neglect.
Love does not become jealous or cause pain
Love overcomes all things and love will always remain.
Love is like a dream come true
A fairytale ending with the Prince or Princess being you.
Love is willingness, sacrifice, and emotion,
Love is complete and utter devotion.
My love will always be deep and true,
Because my love is unconditional for you.
