My Love Poem by Earl Spencer

My Love

Rating: 2.5

Heaven sent, you have never seen,

What lies deep, in those eyes of green.

Drink deep to the soul, and find the love.

Wrapped around the heart, like the wings of a dove.

Stand in the light, and let your spirit be free.

Dance the dance of life, and dance it with me.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem is about the most wonderful lady in the world.
Through the death of her husband I was by her side for the two years he had left to live.
In that time period I was seperated from my wife of 12 years
which i'm sorry to say was a living nightmare.
After her husband's funeral I remained with her to console and comfort her through the hard times.
We fell in love sold the house and got an apt.
We have been here for two weeks and feel safe warm and happy.
It's her love for me that inspires me to write again.
This is my first poem in fifteen years.
Bonnie inspired me to start tonight.
With God's guidance I will continue to write and hope they are
enjoyed by all

Thank you
