After five more days, full moon will be here.
Swimming on my back, I watch evergreen pine trees.
Their branches sway gently with passing breeze.
Under light blue sky, flies a flock of geese.
Cicadas continue their nagging summer songs.
A small bird flies away in the hurry above pine trees.
On top of these pine trees, hangs a bright moon.
Their branches embrace the moon tightly as if to keep it for themselves.
Many people will watch this moon tonight.
To their different minds,
Will it be happy, crying, intoxicated or smiling moon?
My wife and I swim back and forth along the pool.
The moon sinks at pool bottom,
While on pool surface, water ripples steadily flow.
Loving my wife, I love the pool where she swims.
My love is like pool water wrapping around my dear sweet wife.

TÌNH TÔI NHƯ NƯỚC ÔM NGƯỜI VỢ CƯNG

Chỉ năm ngày nữa trăng rằm
Tôi nằm bơi ngửa, ngắm hàng thông xanh.
Vi vu ngọn gió lay cành
Trời xanh phơn phớt, một đàn ngỗng bay.
Ve kêu, tiếng vẫn van nài
Một con chim nhỏ vội vàng bay qua.
Vầng trăng lấp ló ngọn cây
Cành cây cố níu, ôm trăng đêm này.
Đêm nay, bao kẻ nhìn trăng
Trăng vui, trăng khóc, trăng say, trăng cười?
Chúng tôi bơi lội ngược xuôi
Đáy hồ trăng lặn, mặt hồ sóng trôi.
Thương nhau, thương cả hồ bơi
Tình tôi như nước ôm người vợ cưng.
