My Love, My Life Poem by Rajashi Sengupta Mothey

My Love, My Life

I set my eyes on your radiant countenence
There you are in your innocence,
Oblivious to the contradictions
Ravaging civilizations.
The twinkle in your eyes
Say a many unspoken words
Rejuvenating...
Eliminating the barren darkness of my heart.

I receive my lessons of life from you
Unknowingly you have taught me so much...
The smell of your skin, your hair
Balming every bruise of my scarred soul.
