My Love Sonnet Poem by Brandy Kelly

In your mind, what's it like to be in love?
Does it feel good, or does it cause you pain?
Is it like a beautiful morning dove?
Maybe it's like a dreary day of rain.
I ponder on the thought of what it's like
And wonder if i'll ever be in it.
Is it exciting like riding a bike?
Or maybe it makes you just want to quit,
Your search for the one; the one just for you.
Life in my eyes would be so incomplete.
You could only hope for the one so true,
And without; your life you want to delete.
Without love, how would you make it through life?
You'd die alone with no husband or wife.
