My Mind Ate Me Poem by Jakeline Vasov

My Mind Ate Me

My mind ate me,
can you believe it?
Three bites, two sallows,
and Im gone like toast.

Wide eyes stares at it,
This new creature that ate me,
and they wonder,
what has she become.

Eyes become demons
and words become venom,
as I speak what I dare,
and break all the rules.

Deaf, blind and numb to the voices,
comanding me to return,
I smile and laugh,
so happy.

My mind ate me,
can you belive it?
three bites, two sallows,
and I lose control.
