My Monster Inside Poem by Haylee Nanez

My Monster Inside

Could you tease me?
Gash away the seams...,
Unfold my hungers for you,
and leave me to be

a monster;

Crawl up your spine
and whisper behind your ear:

'Ambrosial smack,
take me away...
to crave what I
always want more of.

Starveless annoyance,
buzz in my ear
of all the things that
keep me of stuff

Tendrils your head
sooths the ails,
grasping its death,
like wind to the sails.'

Keep this clung deep in
the seams.
even if proposed,
just as a tease.

Let us open our insides,
and become en masse.
with a dose of romance,
in the vacant pass.
