Before you,
I thought life was already beautiful
And that I am blissful.
I thought I had all that I could ever want,
I thought I found the peace that I try to find.

But I met you.

You made me see how life can be more beautiful
How the sun could be much sunnier
And the moon looks and feels smoother,
The night breeze calmer.

You made me feel how life can be more blissful.
You made me find more reasons to be -
To be happy, to be more serene.
You made me look forward to tomorrow -
How each day could promise a new day with you -
Full of gentle assurances that yes,
With our hands holding each other,
We will make a better tomorrow.

You made me realize the things that I overlooked -
Like I could never fully love another person
Without learning to love myself first.
You made me want to do things right.
You made me realize that I could be more empowered
When I accept my weaknesses with open mind.

You made me see the peace was trying to find
In the midst of all the influences,
All the complexities and drama.
I thought me how to find the peace within me.
Now, I am serenely comfortable in knowing
That I can be whoever I'd like to be.

You changed me as a person.
My rainbow gained its color when you came.
My sky is so much bluer, the waters calmer.
Love of my life, my Morning Kiss,
I am forever thankful you changed my life.
