My Morning Lover Poem by Paul Sebastian

My Morning Lover

Rating: 3.5

At dawn I bring my lord a lotus flower
Affirming my love to my lifelong lover
Who woos me with his peacock dance
Plays the flute, leaving me in love trance

My heart is drunk in his love wine
My arms go limp, my eyes go blind
My lord, embraces and caresses me
I surrender, love-gift him, completely
