After the sun sets, just when clouds go dark;
After the lizards all hide away, just about when the moon lights up;
After when birds lay in nests, at the time when a star begins to spark;
After all lights go out, just when all generators stop;

After the owl oooooos, right about when the night wakes;
After the day's noise sleeps and evening's silence arise with a wink;
After another 24hrs times out, just before the dawn breaks;
After all this time dear, my love for you is all I think.
