My Nightmare Poem by Amanda Riddle

My Nightmare

My heart pounds,
My head screams,
My breath is heavy and sharp.
I try to rub but there is nowhere to go.
I sit in solitude.
Am I all alone?
Who els is here?
Noone thats who.
I can't cry, for there are no more tears.
I can't scream, for I have no voice.
I try to escape but there isn't a way out.
For this is not a dream this is reality.
My life the everlasting nightmare.
Why must it be this way?
Why me?
I wish I could wake up, but I know I can't.
I must learn to deal with it.
For this.....
this is my lovely nightmare.
