My Ode To Cat Poem by Sarah Weber

My Ode To Cat

-I should be very deeply in debt
after all, you know I'm very sorry,
you, my one and only pet,
Making a straight get away to the corrie.

-That night I swarmed upon you,
I gave it all my best
Even though I wasn't sure what to do,
Deciding to split you at the chest.

-What a bloody, bloody mess
Playing with your insides on my lap
The crimson began to obsess
Tap tap tap I make your back go snap.

-Deep in contemplation there I sat
Trying to get all the rats to scat
But still I sat there with a hat,
A hat, that I made from my cat.
