I may be lost in the Deadly Desert
Unless, you hold my hand from
the core of your heart.
I may be lost in the deadly waves of the sea
Unless, from the core of the heart
you could smile at me.
I may be lost under the grave of cold ice
Unless, from the core of your heart,
you could see yourself in my eyes.
I live as you feel my existence
In you I feel the God's presence.
You are near to my heart
But far from my brain
Your are the rising spirit of my mind
You are my FRIEND.
This was a nice read.. The feelings u have for your fren and the faith you have in him is flourishing in this poetry...
This is a beautiful poem. It shows how passionate you are about your friend, whose heart you seek to avoid being lost in the 'deadly desert' or waves of ocean or in the icy grave. The two lined fourth stanza is really a piece of gem! Regarding your friend's being 'near to my heart but far from my brain' I had similar feelings when I wrote my poem 'Head Versus Heart'. If you have time, please read it and see if you can relate. Your poem closes with the last line, 'You are my FRIEND'. The caption says, this friend is your 'only friend'. Why so? Why you have no other friend? On a different subject though, I have a poem titled 'My Friend'. You may like to read it if time permits.
Had a pleasant reading. That's a beautiful poem indeed. So vividly expressed! So spiritually spoken. So innocently prsented! It's always good to go through such poetic manifestation.
