I believe Fathers are Super Heroes
What if they cannot only fly?
Like Batman, Spiderman! !
But they have all the Super strength in the World
Nothing is impossible for them
He will love and dote and
Spoil you like only a father can
Never expressing his emotions,
Nor love for us through words

He is God’s human form on earth to
Guide us, his children
If at midnight I say ‘‘I’m hungry’’
He will cook food
Without grumbling
He would pester me to study every possible degree
In the history of education

Indomitability, poetry, intellect
Runs in my blood
Because of him

He is pro-women’s empowerment
In his classic fatherly way
Suffers in silence rather speaks about it
Before marriage he was shy and young
But after donning fatherhood
He got some magical strength
He is my angel to take
On the world
When I need help, he’s on my speed-dial

As kids when we went on a rollercoaster ride
We held unto him tight
He is the battery that never runs out
He has not only created me
But shaped millions of students
Their success brings tears of pride in his eyes
Many a times
I have envied his students
For stealing away my papa’s love
And dividing, diverting his attention from me
Ah, it hurt! !

As I am growing up
I have come to revere his dedication, sincerity
In enriching his students, whom
He loves as his own children
He is their philosopher, friend and radar
He is my encyclopaedia, dictionary and wikipedia

Google search his brain,
I get my answers to the world’s most intriguing questions
He is my rock,
Our Himalaya
Patience is his virtue
Angered I might talk back and walk out on him
Yet he would not grudge me
Only softly, in a tired voice he would say,
“You will understand me, once you become a parent’’

It is his impeccable qualities
That makes you wonder
Why aint
All my friends like him?
He is the touchstone
For a daughter’s choice of her
Prince charming
He is every child’s Super Hero
He is my Papa.
