My Poem Poem by DIPANJAN BISWAS

My Poem

Sophisticated depression; change is life
A ten feet by ten feet roof and above- skyfull of rumours:
They are my poetry!
Once I got a pen name and stepped in rain. Water stood stagnant.
Lets row the boat ashore- I'm floating on smoke of cigars,
Inhaling the fragrance of some good-old book-
Where music and math blends.
And there rest in peace Adam and Eve, Historic blunder,
Rests my ego, super-ego and id; a classless society.
They are my poetry!
Once I peeped in the paradise, where eve stood coy
And both ends of the shop were selling toys.
