My Remedy Poem by E. Pendragon

In my painful moments,
it's your face that shines brightly in my mind,
It eases my deep suffering,
if only for a time,
It is your warm voice that wraps around my heart,
Lending me sweet comfort against my darker parts,
It is your care and devotion that fortifies my core,
Allowing me to bear the long night,
While standing strong and sure,
You are a welcome remedy to any sickness I must withstand, and all I have to do,
is simply take your hand.
