My Rhymes Multiply Like Wild Rabbits Poem by Francis Duggan

My Rhymes Multiply Like Wild Rabbits

That I'm just an average amateur writer that I could not deny
But my rhymes are like wild rabbits they seem to multiply
I must be quite addictive to keep on penning stuff
But not many writers make the grade few seen to be as good enough
But I am happy whilst penning stuff I've written reams of rhyme
Since I first started writing years ago when I was in my prime
I've written about Nature and I've written about life
And I've written about people in their times of inner strife
And I've written about happiness and sorrow as well
I've written quite a lot of stuff and heaps of doggerel
I will always be a rhymer of that why should I lie
And I hope to keep penning stuff until the day I die
I never tire of rhyming I pen verse every day
And my rhymes multiply like wild rabbits or so t'would seem that way.
