My River Poem by Nancy Nalbandian

My River

Rating: 5.0

Like a flowing river,
My heart does run to you,
And just like an orphan child,
I cherish your every touch,
I yearn for your spark in my life.
You free me from my forg'd manacled mind-
I escape from the dungeon
And find myself in the Great Wall of Paradise.
Too fabulous to be,
Yet, i find grand greatness in thee,
Who transforms me from myself
And create us in me, instead.
The sky might vaporise me in the air,
I may return to nature, and dissolved in soil,
But with the precious remnants of your love-
All will be adequate.
We are not chance, but miracle
We will pave our way to heaven
And assure our triumph,
Because we still have alot to endure
And so many goals on the finish line are waiting for us to get there.
You and I,
Are more than we ponder.
Like a crystalized stone,
My love luminously shines forth.
