My Share Of Night Poem by Fatima Nusairat

My Share Of Night

Rating: 4.3

My share of night
was taken by day
and because I own a white dream
And a small heart
My Lord, next time
If I predestined to leave,
Whatever my heart yearned and begged
I shouldn't be back again.

Such as body of the ship
slapped by waves,
Like a rock cracked between the rocks
I came here like exotic
And such exotic I am leaving again
My Lord, next time
If I predestined to leave,
Whatever my heart yearned and begged
I shouldn't be back again.

I open my mouth
So the lineament of open sea - rejoice,
And the wind moves my words
To its dark caves,
Whispering it, to small Nightingales.
It is a cloud shed tears,
Clouds shed tears
On our misery destiny.

I'll cut off the arteries of the night
So the dreams, become like a crimson color
become like a sheet of paper in the alleys of villages.
Become sheets for those who gone,
For nights that never shut eyelid,
For those Who are waiting secretly
to hear the miracles of love.
