Oh through the darkness I see
your beauty that haunts me

Never seen you face to face
your kindness can't be replaced

Feeling set my heart a glow
if you needed me I'd know

Our memories I hold tight
as you're my shining knight

Captured my heart in your chest
envision you and I'm blessed

Always friends nothing more
but it's only you I adore


Wanting you for far too long
that is why I wrote this song

If you only sway my way
I'd say goodbye to yesterday


Baby please stay the night
as I long to hold you tight
Show you what I'm holding back
