My Shining Light My Guiding Star Poem by London Love Poems

My Shining Light My Guiding Star

I can't help but say
it's not right
seeing tears run
down your face.

I see you
with this other man
he's not right
for you, I would
treat you so much
better than he can.

But I can't help
but say, It's
not right seeing
tears run down
your face.

You can't let him treat
you this way.

With me, it would
never be the same.

But it looks
like I'll have to wait.

Then we'll know
if it's fate.

And I'll keep my faith.

But I can't help
but say, it's not right
seeing tears run
down your face.

How can this other man
treat you this way?
I see you
for who you really are.

You're my shining light.

My guiding star.

I want to be
where-ever you are.

But I can't help
but say, It's not
right seeing tears
run down your face.

You've told me
what he puts you
through, how can
you let him
do that to you?

But I can't help
but say, it's not
right seeing tears
run down your face.

Why can't
this other man
see you for who
you really are?

You're a shining light.

My guiding star.

Very well written Jon. Many will identify with this, I think. N
