My Struggle Poem by Michael Sisemore

My Struggle

What have I done wrong
Where do I belong?
My path, full of rejection
There is no connection

My soul cries out
For a friend, but their is doubt
My heart weaken
Since I was a deacon

My heart broke
It's no joke
By the rejection
All I see is no connection

But I got to be cheerful
not tearful
Because I got you
You can help me through
I have you all the time

Dear Lord, I can always go to you
You have walked in my shoes
You give me comfort
Not discomfort

I will turn to you
You will have me go through
My struggle, till the end
Your my everlasting friend
I'll be fine with you
