My Sweet Angel Poem by Akshay B..

Last night as I walked down the empty lane in the moonlight
I gazed up to the skies and I saw the stars glowing bright
I began to wonder why was I all alone in this venture of mine
Why is it that people would treat me as a treacherous swine?
Then something happened and something fell out from the sky
It was so peculiar that I began to ask myself the question why?
It was an angel whose eyes were filled with innocence of a child
The way she spoke to me indeed proved to me that she was mild
Her beauty could not be described in words to say
She promised me that she would stand beside me every day
Aye she walked beside me and made my journey so short
She kissed me and blessed me and treated me in ways others never thought
She said she loved me for the person I am and made me believe
I promised her that I would help her when ever she needed to achieve
I walked on my path from there on and I realised something else
That she was not an angel but a mere mortal itself
Am I fool such that I could not make out the difference
Was she so amazing that I mistook her for an angel itself?
Where ever you might me I'll always be there for you!
And these are the words which can not be more true
Thank you for the times we shared
Thank you for the times you even cared
Thank you for the company you gave me in my lonely life
Aye I wish some how you could be my wife
Neverthless I promise that when ever you need me I'll be there for you
And I'll forever and always till the end of time I'll always love you
