My Tibet; My World Poem by Amala Comer

My Tibet; My World

Rating: 5.0

Voices that can never be silenced,
words that can never be erased,
lives that will never be forgotton,
History that will always be saved.

Will the Prince of Tides
change the hands of time,
for a better future
no barriers, no losers, just mankind.

With life's sweet breath
treasures unfold,
symbols of forgiveness
on a banner now unfurled.

To those who would prolong
the killing we endure,
think toward the future,
where children sing a song
of light and hope,
darkness overcome,
Beyond, to dreams
of golden fields
that ripen in the Sun.

We can do nothing against freedom but for freedom. No matter what our oppressors do to perpetuate oppression, freedom shall eventually reign. Long live the people of Tibet. A well drafted and nicely composed patriotic piece. Thanks for sharing Amala.
